Bernie Mac, a founding member of the "Kings of Comedy" comedy tour, and I at the press junket the morning after the movie premiere of "Head of State." I always had fun when I was around him and this particular event was most memorable. Bernie was singing a song and I was cracking jokes. While they were snapping photos, we were talking without moving our mouths; we do that so we don’t look crazy in photos. I said something to him that cracked him up. He jokingly told me I was crazy and funny. Coming from Mac, that is a great compliment. In August 2008 I, like many others, was deeply saddened by his death.
